EYA plans to enhance Brookdale Park with new amenities and improved access, in coordination with the County’s Parks Department. The park will then be dedicated to the County for long-term maintenance. EYA will also seek community input to help inform potential enhancements.

Following demolition approximately two-thirds of existing trees are expected to be preserved, with another approximately 650 new trees planted.

EYA will also remove invasives and plant native landscaping, as well as study enhancements to the stream valley with opportunities for educational signage.

Phase 2 amenities will be determined as part of the Sector Plan process.
